Welcome to Dvalin’s Armory Station
You’ve discovered another room in Dvalin’s Tavern.
Looks like this one’s his dressing room. In the corner, you spot an old Armory Station, and on the table – dusty scribbles, scattered notes, and half-finished loadouts.
This is where Dvalin keeps all his gear setups. Even in his older days, he never says no to a good dragon hunt. That’s why you’ll even find his most recent builds tucked away right here. Just keep your eyes open – he tends to hide the good stuff.

Easy and fast speedbuild for material farming in ESO 2025
There are countless builds in The Elder Scrolls Online – tailored for every type of content and playstyle.
But when it comes to material farming, one thing matters more than anything else: movement speed. The faster you move, the more nodes you can reach – and the more profit you can make.
FAQ about Builds
What is a “Build”?
What kind of builds are there?
There are plenty of different builds in The Elder Scrolls Online for all the different content types like PvE, PvP, Farming and much more. Whether it’s about surviving tough bosses, dealing massive damage, or supporting your group, a good build makes sure everything in your loadout plays its part.
What's the difference between PvE and PvP?
In simple terms: in PvE content, you’ll fight against computer-controlled enemies like monsters, bosses, and NPCs. In PvP, you’re up against real people — other players who’ll try to outsmart, outplay, and (probably) outdamage you. Or even shorter: PvE fights beasts. PvP fights brains… and lag.
Can I create my own build or should I follow a guide?
You’re absolutely free to create your own build — and honestly, that’s part of the fun! But keep in mind: it takes some time to understand how ESO’s mechanics work, how different skills interact, and how gear choices can impact your performance.
If you’re just starting out, the best advice is: play the way you enjoy. Experiment, try different skills and armor types, and see what feels good. You can easily complete quests and normal dungeons with almost any setup.
Later on, if you want to push your limits or tackle tougher content, switching to a well-optimized DPS, healer, or tank build can really make a difference.
How important are race and class when choosing a build?
This is a very common question – and don’t worry, unless you’re aiming for top-tier competitive content, you really don’t need to stress about it.
Yes, your class and race can have some impact on your maximum DPS or survivability. But honestly, what matters far more is your build setup and how well you understand and play your class.
If you’re a casual player: relax and enjoy the game. You’ll do just fine with the race and class you like best.
If you want to min-max your character for trials, arenas, or PvP – then yes, picking the “perfect” race and class for your role can give you that extra edge.
How do I respec my character if I want to change my build?
Unlike some other games, ESO makes it surprisingly easy to respec your character — whether it’s attributes, skill points, champion points, or even your gear.
My favorite method is the Armory Station. It’s a free in-game tool that lets you save entire setups (builds) and switch between them whenever you like. Super handy if you enjoy playing different roles or experimenting with new styles.
There are also shrines in major cities and respec scrolls, which allow you to manually reassign skills or stats if you prefer doing things the old-fashioned way.

What is a "One-Bar-Build"?
As the name suggests, a One-Bar Build uses only one of the two available skill bars in The Elder Scrolls Online.
These builds are especially popular with casual players or anyone who prefers a simpler playstyle – and they’re usually centered around a specific Mythic item: the Oakensoul Ring. This powerful ring disables your second skill bar, but in return, it grants you a whole stack of strong buffs to make up for it.
Perfect for players who want to keep things simple without giving up too much power!
What means "min-maxing"?
Min-maxing basically means pushing your character to the absolute limit.
You’re trying to maximize your strengths – like damage output, survivability, or healing — while also minimizing any weaknesses your build might have. It’s all about fine-tuning gear, skills, stats, and passives to squeeze out every bit of performance.
Ideal for players who love to optimize and take on the game’s toughest challenges.
